The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is scheduled to be the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international men's football championship contested by the national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It is scheduled to take place in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022. This will be the first World Cup ever to be held in the Arab world and the first in a Muslim-majority country. It will also be the first World Cup ever to be held entirely in one country, with all matches taking place in Qatar.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar will take place from November 21 to December 18, 2022.

Venues:

The 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar will take place in eight stadiums across the country. These stadiums are the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, the Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah, the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan, the Lusail Iconic Stadium in Lusail, the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha, the Ras Abu Aboud Stadium in Doha, and the Al Wakrah Stadium in Al Wakrah.

Weather

The high temperatures in Qatar prompted the decision to hold the World Cup in the winter, despite the fact that all previous editions have been held in the summer. Over 45 degrees Celsius (113 degrees Fahrenheit) can reach Qatar during the summer. November and December experience much lower average temperatures, ranging from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius (68 to 78 degrees Fahrenheit), with a peak temperature of nearly 29 degrees Celsius (84 degrees Fahrenheit) in November.

FIFA World Cup 2022 will be held in Qatar and will consist of 8 venues. The stadiums and their capacities are listed below:

1. Al Janoub Stadium, Al Wakrah – 40,000

2. Education City Stadium, Al Rayyan – 40,000

3. Khalifa International Stadium, Doha – 40,000

4. Al Bayt Stadium, Al Khor – 60,000

5. Al Rayyan Stadium, Al Rayyan – 40,000

6. Lusail Stadium, Lusail – 80,000

7. Ras Abu Aboud Stadium, Doha – 40,000

8. Al Thumama Stadium, Doha – 40,000

The tournament will feature 64 matches, including the final.
